We'd like to thank our professor, Richard G. Baraniuk, for giving us the necessary direction to get started once we decided upon our project topic.
We'd also like thank Goldwave. This shareware software is written for Microsoft Windows and enabled us to capture sounds, edit in many ways, apply IIR and FIR filters, and then save the sounds in a variety of formats including .wav, .mat, and .au files. It is a great product and an excellent complement to Matlab.
